The filing deadline of March 27, 2026, for the Town of Hartly Council has passed. There were two (2) volunteer council positions, two-year term, open this year; however, the two incumbents were unopposed.

There are two (2) volunteer council positions, two-year term, open this year. The Public Notice for Solicitation of Candidates is posted in the Hartly Post Office or navigate to Government / Elections page on this website for additional information and instructions for filing.
Review and follow the Procedure for filing, found on the “Public Notice for Solicitation of Candidates.”
Both the Town of Hartly Candidate Filing Form and the Certification of Intention Form must be completed and submitted to the Town of Hartly by the Deadline for Candidate filings date.
The following are dates of importance:
- March 27, 2026 (5:00 PM) – Deadline for Candidate Filings
- April 01, 2026 – Public Notice of the Candidates, residential voting place, date, and time. (or Election Cancellation Notice when appropriate)
- April 25, 2026 – Date of Election (if warranted)
